Odaily Planet Daily reports that Fed spokesperson Nick Timiraos posted on X platform that Trump made a speech at Davos revealing his views on the Fed Chair candidate. Trump stated that he will announce the new Fed Chair candidate soon and said that all the interviewed candidates are excellent, but he is worried that the candidate might change their stance and raise interest rates after taking office. In addition, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the current Fed Chair Jerome Powell, stating that he is slow to respond to interest rate adjustments.
