This funding will directly support Shielded Labs’ core initiatives, including the Network Sustainability Mechanism (NSM), Crosslink, and dynamic fees, aimed at enhancing the security and scalability of the Zcash network.
Shielded Labs is a Switzerland-based organization supporting Zcash, funded by donations from Zcash holders and supporters. It operates independently of the developer fund and block rewards, with donations used to support the long-term development of the protocol. Shielded Labs stated that this is the second time Tyler and Cameron have donated to them. Their first donation was in 2023, to establish a dedicated team focused on Crosslink.
